MailChimp Vs. Constant Contact
August 19, 2016
Two of the most common tools that allow you to send newsletters to your audiences are Constant Contact and MailChimp. Both are fast, simple to use, and helps you manage your customer mailing lists.
Constant Contact and MailChimp can be easily added into WordPress using plugins that you can set up yourself!
MailChimp WordPress Mailing List Integrations:
Try the “MailChimp for WP” plugin . This plugin will integrate with your contact form, your WordPress registration form, and even your WooCommerce order form. It’s a great starting point for getting new leads added to your mailing list.
One service that Constant Contact integration lacks with WordPress is the ability to sync your users to a list. With MailChimp it’s simple. Just install the “MailChimp sync” plugin. All your registered site users will then sync to the MailChimp mailing list of your choice.
Constant Contact WordPress Mailing List Integrations:
Constant Contact was a little more challenging to get up and running within WordPress. There are very few plugins available that support Constant Contact integration, but unlike with Mailchimp, the best plugins must be purchased.
The “Constant Contact Widget” plugin is a great free starting point. It offers a very basic integration with Constant Contact and WordPress. This plugin will let you add a subscription form to your website.
